TruVenture Composites is a private investment firm that invests family capital in businesses in the plastic and composite markets. We are owned by North Cliff Corporation, a fourth-generation, family-owned, holding company with three operating entities totaling nearly 400 employees and headquartered in Berlin, Wisconsin. Badger Mining, the core business, is consistently recognized for corporate wellness and safety, and voted the best small company to work for (Society for Human Resource Management) in America for nine consecutive years.
Our first acquisition was Nicolet Plastics in Mountain, WI. Nicolet is a custom injection molder specializing in medium to low volume complex parts. Nicolet has built a blue chip customer base due to the expertise in helping customers make better parts along with having multiple of press tonnage to manufacture a large variety of part size. Nicolet was recognized as the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the year for 2017 due to its excellent customer service and manufacturing expertise.
The goal of TruVenture is to buy additional businesses that fit the North Cliff Corporation values and add manufacturing capabilities that will enhance the ability of TruVenture to solve customer applications.
We are looking to expand our manufacturing capabilities in the injection molding market while also exploring additional manufacturing processes such as: thermoforming/vacuum forming, thermoset , or additive manufacturing.
We want to remain a niche manufacturer leveraging our engineering and manufacturing expertise. We will expand our revenue by selling more products to existing customers by enhancing our manufacturing capabilities.
